Mission	Our mission is to contribute to the scholarly understanding of transformation processes of gender and to make the results available to society. We do so by conducting both fundamental and applied multi- and interdisciplinary research on changes in gender and gender relations. The research group starts from the premise that gender continually shows itself to be a crucial factor in the structuring of society and culture, that it closely intersects with other divisions in society, and impacts greatly on people?s lives. The research focuses on the dynamics of gender by studying individual and collective agents of change and the social, political and cultural constellations under which such changes occur.
