The objectives of Rutgers WPF are: to achieve a society in which individuals have both the ability and the opportunity to make voluntary, well-informed and carefully-considered choices with respect to their sexual conduct and their personal relationships; to achieve an individual situation characterized by a favourable physical and mental perception of sexuality and relationships, and the absence - or prevention - of sexually transmissible diseases, unwanted pregnancies, sexual discrimination and sexual abuse; to achieve an optimum level of the quantity and quality of the sexological assistance,provision of information, and preventive measures required to contribute towards the further professionalization of sexology. |
