PON Knowledge in Progress is well-known in Noord-Brabant as the leading knowledge centre for social issues. PON studies the nature of social developments and supports regional and local social policy development with various forms of socio-scientific research, both qualitative and quantitative. PON not only develops projects and programmes, it also promotes their execution and ascertains which circumstances are required for successful implementation elsewhere. PONs expertise covers vision development and the development of innovative projects, in cooperation with government, institutions, private organisations and social groups in the field of care, quality of life, livability and welfare, sustainability, culture, education and employment. The provincial government of Noord-Brabant is PON's main financier. |
