| Mission |
The department of Applied Physics strives for the highest national and international level of research and education in physics, with a focus on technology aspects. To this end the department offers education and performs research in three important fields: functional materials, plasma physics and radiation technology, and fluid dynamics and transport physics. These fields provide a solid base for research and education by incorporating aspects of both fundamental physics and technology applications, and enabling close working relationships with industrial partners and research institutes alike. |
