Mission	ICIN - Netherlands Heart Institute initiates and stimulates first-class scientific research for prevention and treatment of heart disease. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and survival of patients by promoting innovative treatments from bench to bedsite. Our research focuses on five themes - congenital heart disease, atherosclerosis, arrhythmias, heart failure and imaging - and is performed in the departments and laboratories of the eight university medical centers.
Addition	Ons onderzoek richt zich op vijf thema's - aangeboren hartafwijkingen, atherosclerose, ritmestoornissen, hartfalen en beeldtechniek - en wordt uitgevoerd in de klinieken en laboratoria van de acht universitaire medische centra.
