| Mission |
The objectives of the multidisciplinary school of Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN) are to do research and to provide scientific training for graduate and PhD students. The central question is: 'How does the brain enable us to interact with the environment?' The general aim is to acquire insight into brain functions by multidisciplinary approaches at different levels: the behavioral, the cognitive and the neuronal. |

De onderzoeksschool BCN biedt research master en PhD studenten een opleidingsprogramma, waarin het accent ligt op het multidisciplinaire karakter van het BCN-onderzoek. BCN telt op dit moment 41 research master studenten, die zich op een van de BCN gebieden kunnen specialiseren, ongeveer 170 PhD studenten, en ongeveer 280 onderzoekers die bij BCN aangesloten zijn. Per jaar zijn er in totaal tussen de 30 en 40 promotieplaatsen beschikbaar bij de onderzoeksgroepen die in het BCN participeren. Nadere informatie is te verkrijgen bij het BCN-bureau. |
