Mission The Research School has the following principal missions:1. to stimulate and co-ordinate medievalist research within the six participating Dutch universities; 2. to stimulate and co-ordinate medievalist research within the Netherlands generally; 3. to promote research contacts between medievalist researchers within the Netherlands and without; 4. to co-ordinate training of medievalist graduate students within the Netherlands 5. to internationalise multidisciplinary research in medieval studies in the Netherlands.
Addition Vanuit de zes participerende universiteiten wordt aan de school deelgenomen door ca. 90 onderzoekers in vaste dienst (ca. 30 fte), ca. 30 promovendi en ca. 15 postdocs. Via de 4 x per jaar verschijnende Nieuwsbrief houdt de school ca. 900 onderzoekers op het gebied van de mediëvistiek in Nederland en Vlaanderen op de hoogte van haar activiteiten.
