Mission: "to enhance the understanding of how landscapes function and respond to environmental change, through the integrated study of patterns and processes in geo-ecosystems".
The objectives of the ICG are:
* to stimulate and co-ordinate fundamental and applied research on terrestrial geo-ecological systems;
* to develop, co-ordinate and implement a teaching programme for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers;
* to foster research opportunities by jointly purchasing expensive equipment and sharing personnel, equipment and facilities. |
