The OSPT aims at:
* Strengthening of the Process Technology in the Netherlands;
* Strengthening of the research through stimulation and coordination of research programs;
* Stimulation of top research;
* Coordination of education and initiation of advanced graduate courses on Process Technology for PhD-students, designers and interested professionals from industry;
* Promoting international contacts by inviting visiting teachers and top researchers and creating networks for collaboration;
* Providing an interface between the process industry and the universities through direct contacts and an industrial advisory board;
* Acquisition of funds for R&D and education programs of the school.
Important axes of research are: physical transport phenomena, chemical reaction engineering, separation technology, process integration / development and the input of these disciplines in multi-disciplinary projects. |
