Mission The institute for Historical, Literary and Cultural Studies carries out all the historical, literary and cultural research of the Faculty of Arts. The institute is divided into four research programmes: - The Ancient World - Memory: Cultural and Religious Identities - Public and private life: the history of politics and human life courses - Studying Criticism And Reception Across Borders (SCARAB) - Performances of Memory.
