| Mission |
The Center for Research on Aging is a working group on research and education in gerontology and geriatrics at the Vrije Universiteit and VU University medical center. The Center aims towards more cooperation between researchers of medical, sociological and psychological disciplines in order to increase the quality of research and education in gerontology and geriatrics. The Center aims towards an (inter)national profile as a center of excellence on the subject of aging. The Center aims to improve the use of external financial sources and to obtain new interdisciplinary research on aging. Eventually, the Center aims towards a further development of an interdisciplinary gerontology. |
