| Mission |
The aims of the Dutch Burns Foundation are to: 1. optimise the acute and long-term treatment and general care of people that suffered burn wounds at some point in their lives; 2. enhance the quality of life of people with burn wounds to a level indistinguishable from that of other people; 3. improve or come up with new strategies that aim at the prevention of burn wounds To this end, the Burns Foundation strives at raising funds to enable scientific research, specific aftercare projects and prevention campaigns within the Netherlands. |
