| Mission |
The Maastricht Brain and Behaviour Institute is a research institute according to the law MUB. The main objective of the institute is to conduct fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of neuroscience. Main emphasis of the institute is on cognitive and affective deficits in development and aging. This type of research takes place in the domains of psychiatry, neurology, neuro- and biopsychology and basic neuroscience. The different specialties within the Universiteit Maastricht are working closely together in a multidisciplinary way. The aims of the institute can be reached by research that is being financed from the so-called first, second and third money resources. Contract research is also carried out and fits within the perspective of our primary research questions. |
