Mission Research school DISC is an interuniversity research institute and graduate school that unites all academic groups in the Netherlands that are active in systems and control theory and engineering. It offers a nationally organized graduate programme for PhD students in this field. Being founded by the Delft and Eindhoven Universities of Technology and the University of Twente, a majority of participants in the school are affiliated with the faculties of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and mathematics of these three universities. A large number of other departments and institutes participate in DISC under various agreements. DISC pursues fundamental and application-oriented research and offers post-graduate training leading to a doctorate degree.
