Mission The research of the group is focused on two main themes: "consumer behaviour" and "marketing in the value-added chain of agricultural and food products". The research themes provide insight into the functioning of marketing institutions, such as auctions and futures markets, and their role in the agricultural and foodmarketing channel, and provide valuable information for food and agribusiness organisations in developing customer-oriented marketing strategies. The group's research is primarily quantitative in nature. Models are used to meet the research objectives, with special attention for marketing research models and quantitative tools to analyse marketing data.
