The group focuses its research activities at the mathematical and statistical modeling of physical and biological processes. Courses are given in ordinary and partial differential equations, numerical mathematics, biomathematics, statistical design, time series analysis and spatial statistics. In research important topics of the group are population biology, quantitative genetics, mathematical models in entomology and phytopathology, optimal designs and statistical models in time and space. |
