| Mission |
The principal goals of EURON are to perform high-impact translational neuroscience research on neurodegenerative and psychiatric illnesses and to provide state-of-the-art education to Master and PhD students. To this end, EURON has brought together basic and clinical neuroscience domains. We perform a disease oriented approach and cluster our knowledge and expertise to provide insights into the neurodegenerative processes and mechanisms in order to increase the development of new therapeutic strategies. We work together on Alzheimer?s disease, depression, epilepsy, schizophrenia, Parkinson?s disease, MS, stroke and spinal cord injuries. |
