| Mission |
Building on the pioneering work of the historian Ernst Kossman (1922-2003), the University of Groningen examines many aspects of the wide spectrum of the history of political culture, for example the theoretical reflection on politics and political culture, the relationship between politics and government, the role of political parties and the relationship between the media and politics. The Kossman Institute aims to stimulate cooperation between researchers at the University of Groningen and to promote debate on this theme. |
