| Mission |
3 TU Centre for Dependable ICT Systems aims to identify, develop and integrate approaches, methods and techniques for specifying, designing, building, assessing, validating, operating and maintaining ICT systems so that they are dependable. Improving system dependability always comes at an extra cost. It is the explicit goal of the Centre to make sure that the required ICT-system dependability is achieved in the most cost-effective way, requiring a (non-traditional) cross-layer approach toward dependability, in which hardware, software and application-specific concerns are treated. It is exactly the team effort within 3 TU Centre for Dependable ICT Systems (with 12+6 top ICT research groups from 3TU) that makes such a cross-layer approach possible. |
