| Mission |
The Montesquieu Institute (MI) is a multidisciplinary research and education institute for European comparative parliamentary history and constitutional developments. The institute does not limit itself to scientific research. The added value lies in its ambition to contribute to broad social and political debate on democracy and its institutions, both in the Netherlands and throughout Europe. The MI is committed to disseminating and valorising available information in these fields, by making it easier to access for civil servants, journalists, politicians, scientists and interested citizens. This is done through a variety of educational programs, conferences and an electronic knowledge exchange network. |
