| Mission |
The interdisciplinary research center CoRPS is an initiative of the Department of Medical Psychology and Neuropsychology of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FSW) of Tilburg University in cooperation with the Department of Methodology and Statistics and the executive boards of the St. Elisabeth Hospital and the TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg. CoRPS addresses timely and much needed research issues in the interface between medical and behavioural sciences. The mission of the research within CoRPS is to contribute to disease management care for patients with chronic medical conditions. Disease management care is an approach to health care that identifies patients at risk, measures outcomes and intervenes with specific programs of care. The research output of CoRPS is published in high-quality international journals and PhD theses. CoRPS organizes activities (seminars, workshops and conferences) to stimulate academic discussion and promote the development and dissemination of knowledge among scientists, practitioners and policy makers. |
