| Mission |
The Netherlands Consortium for Healthy Ageing (NCHA) is an alliance between the Leiden University Medical Centre, the Erasmus Medical Centre, Unilever, Philips Healthcare, Galápagos and McRoberts BV. NCHA is supported by the Netherlands Genomics Initiative.
NCHA promotes healthy ageing:
By correcting the research deficit regarding the elderly;
By adapting health care facilities to the needs of older patients;
By finding novel interventions for disabilities, using innovative strategies derived from technology and the life sciences;
Together with developing effective public health interventions for conserving an independent lifestyle;
Ultimately leading to a silver economy . |
