Mission The mission of the Amsterdam Global Change Institute (AGCI) is to contribute to sustainable societal choices through integrated research into the interactions between people, the global environment and the changing climate.
The basis of this ambition lies in a unique interdisciplinary research community at the VU University Amsterdam which is committed to be internationally leading in terms of its scientific impact, societal relevance and excellent training of young researchers.
Addition More than 200 researchers are part of AGCI, from the following participating departments and research groups:
