| The research will cover the adaptive mechanisms and the local resource management practices of the Bugkalots, an indigenous people in the Philippines. These mechanisms will cover the whole range of their biophysical, socio-cultural, economic, and political environments. The study will also investigate the impact of development programs implemented for the Bugkalots in relation to their adoption and acceptability and the effect on the people's adaptation and interaction with the environment. |
