| For many of the complex and frequently congenital syndromes known today, satisfactory clinical and genetic classification is not yet possible. This project aims at the detailed description of known, and the delineation of new recognizable patterns of malformations as a prerequisite for improved diagnosis and genetic counceling. Database analysis of syndromes, cytogenetic aberrations, knock-out phenotypes, and gene expression patterns are implemented for the identification of candidate genes. |
