Abstract

For the total catchment (in Germany and the Netherlands) a rainfall study will be carried out. For the hydrological component the German model Nasim will be used. For the hydraulic part Sobek will be used. With Sobek the morphological aspects will be studied. The results will be used to select the best measures to hold water in the catchment area en to develop an ecologic connection zone along the river Berkel (on Germany and Dutch area).

Abstract (NL)

Voor het hele stroomgebied (van de bron in Duitsland tot aan de monding in de IJssel) wordt een neerslag-afvoerstudie uitgevoerd. Hierbij wordt voor het hydrologische gedeelte gebruik gemaakt van het Duitse model Nasim en voor het hydraulische gedeelte het model Sobek. Met het model zullen scenario's worden doorgerekend. Met Sobek zullen ook de morfologische processen in beeld worden gebracht. De resultaten hiervan zullen worden gebruikt om de geschikte maatregelen te selecteren voor het vasthouden van water en ontwikkelen van een ecologische verbindingszone langs Berkel (op Duits en Nederlands grondgebied).
