Abstract

This project aims at establishing, making available, and maintaining a database of one million tokens and a half of 19th century Frisian. Due to several different 19th century orthographic traditions, the spelling variants will be linked to the standardised Modern Frisian spelling form, which will make for an easy accessible database.

Abstract (NL)

Met dit project wordt beoogd het opzetten en inrichten, beschikbaar stellen en onderhouden van een database van anderhalf miljoen tokens 19de-eeuws Fries. Vanwege de verschillende 19de-eeuwse spellingstradities zal het materiaal qua spelling geharmoniseerd worden, zodat de database aan de hand van de gestandaardiseerde Nieuwfriese spellingsvormen doorzoekbaar is.
