| This sub-theme addresses mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of nonlinear PDEs with main application in the field of life sciences. Producing robust software will receive considerable attention. Co-operation has been established with researchers working in micro-biology, oceanography and reacting gas flow problems. External support is obtained from NWO through the national program 'Computational Life Sciences' and from the Dutch BSIK/BRICKS project. |
