| [Aim]: There is a limit to how far one can go in purely deterministic modelling of environmental variables and processes. Stochastic and statistical approaches recognise the uncertainty with which we know the real world and as such they are extremely useful to the earth and environmental sciences. It is the advancement and application of these stochastic and statistical approaches that define the aims of this project.
