Separation of specific components from process streams in industry (food, fine chemicals, pharmaceutical) is one of the most difficult problems in this industry. Often it are components with comparable chemical and physical properties. Separation or removing of these components demands high-energy costs. High-energy consumption is one of the main environmental problems in the world. Because of this reason the OSPT starts a program on developing new Separation Methods in the process industry.
