Abstract

The research looks at women's changing labor market patterns in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK in the period 1990-2000. In this manner Yerkes is attempting to describe and explain the relationship between the increased labor market participation of women on the one hand, and changes in female labor market patterns and preferences on the other, within various welfare state environments.
