Abstract

The objective of the study is to determine resting myocardial blood flow and flow reserve using H215O positron emission tomography in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy who will receive a biventricular pacemaker. A comparison will be made 1) before and after pacemaker implantation and 2) between pacing versus non-pacing mode. Additionally cardiac function will be evaluated using C15O-gated positron emission tomography.
