Abstract

The centre of Expertise in Life Sciences (CEL) at the Hogeschool Zuyd acts as an interface between research in the Euregio (Aachen, Maastricht, Liege) and local business. Thematic priorities include nutraceuticals, biomaterials, biomarkers and development new diagnostic tools. Members include staff from HSzuyd, project staff and business starters. The Centre anticipates to use, apply and disseminate Nanotechnology.

De kenniskring Life Sciences aan de Hogeschool Zuyd fungeert als interface tussen kenniscentra in de Euregio (Aken, Maastricht, Luik) en het bedrijfsleven. Dit gebeurt via onderwijs en onderzoek binnen de thema's biomaterialen, nutraceuticals, biomarkers en medische technologie. De kenniskring bestaat uit docenten van de HSZuyd, projectmedewerkers en incubees (personen die door de KK begeleid worden bij het opzetten van een bedrijf- of product-gerichte research).
