| This project aims at an historical, theoretical and partly futuristic analysis of the relation between genomics and time. What are the possible implications of genomics - as scientific theory and as technological practice - for our theoretical conception of time and for practical time-regimes? And what might be the cultural and normative effects of such changes in time concepts and -regimes on individual level (self-image, autonomy, responsibility) and on societal level (institutional distributions of tasks and responsibilities)? |
