The overall aim of this PhD-project is to study the relationships between known dietary risk factors, CHD and overall mortality. We will study the effect of a recent diet and a diet consumed over a long period of time. A clear understanding of a long period of time. A clear understanding of how dietary habits develop throughout life is therfore essential. Furthermore, we will sitinguish between premature death and death at an older age.
