| This research, which started in the summer of 2003, focuses on the changes in the cityscape because of the presence of immigrants and their descendants, the implications for the bond and identification with the city and its inhabitants, and the concomitant struggle for public space. The research will take place in Amsterdam and one or more other cities in the Netherlands. 2003 has been used to write a detailed research plan. |
