| The goal of the project is to develop better design methods for interactive systems and to improve the dialogue between the user and the system. And to gather more knowledge about the MABA-MABA (Men Are Better At, Machines Are Better At) task differentiations and the dialogue, in relation with the constraints and mental models of the users. The PhD student also examines how to keep the users knowledge state high while interacting with a system, and what sort of cognitive aiding could support limited cognitive resources. The applied part of the project is to uncover the data model of the art- and breast cancer-domain from users and to implement this data model in a high-fidelity working IR prototype. This project is part of the Narrator (Token2000) project, which aims at the support of narratives in health care related communication. |
