| The research aims to develop the comprehensive models of land use dynamics in the Suoi Muoi catchment (in the North West mountainous region of Vietnam) by integrating remote sensing information with ethnographic studies. Specific attention is given to the influence of the human activities on the land use and land cover change in the region during the last 50 years. |
