| This project focuses on the evolution of exchange networks, more precisely, the emergence and efficiency of the evolved exchange network. The effect of two important variables on the evolution of exchange networks is assessed: (i) network type (equal, weak, or strong power), and (ii) information on other actors; endowments and preferences. Using core theory the efficient network in an exchange situation is derived. In two series of experiments core theory is tested, and the effect of type of network and information on the emergence and efficiency of exchange networks is assessed. |
