| Aim of the research programme JACQUARD is the enhancement of the Dutch knowledge position in the field of software engineering. JACQUARD aims at achieving this goal through a strong involvement of the software industry in the steering of the research in this field and through the application of 'concurrent research', i.e. parallel theoretical, empirical and experimental research. JACQUARD focuses on the continuous evolution and ever increasing complexity of software systems. The programme covers four links in the chain of software development cycles: 1. software architecture; 2. configuration of software components; 3. alignment of business processes and the supporting software; 4. quantification and evaluation of software quality properties. |
