The organic pig production is struggling with some technical issues/bottlenecks, which are attacked in this project. This concerns mostly:
- Development of a suitable maternity sty at a model farm in the province Gelderland.
- Reducing medicine residues of medicines in slaughtered pigs.
- Increasing the concept of phytotherapy.
- Promoting organic pig meat in the province Gelderland
In this project ASG, a sty-builder, a supermarket chain in Gelderland and some organic pig farmers from Gelderland are co-operating
Types of services provided by Agro Eco:
- Project development: in co-operation with VBV, Agro Eco has made a project proposal and presented it to the financer.
- Project leadership: Agro Eco is, together with the board, responsible for project contents, progress, finances and reports
