| The central question of this research proposal is how the entryof newcomers in teams can have a positive influence on knowledgetransfer and innovation processes within teams, without them beingrejected as deviant or reducing team cohesiveness and the taskmotivation of individual team members. We aim to examine theconditions under which a newcomer?s previous work environment(whether teams are exposed to newcomers from within or outside theorganization) will have a beneficial or detrimental influence on theextent to which newcomers are accepted by teams and the consequentinnovation processes within a team. |
