| The proposed research is rooted and fits well within mine and other colleagues professional training and experience. Extension as a field of study and professional practice has two dimension, namely the communication and educational dimensions. Therefore communication is part and partial of the routine of any extension professional in the academic and practical world. A research in communication especially as it relates to fostering farmer participation in research and extension through appropriate and effective communication strategies will make a useful contribution to the general body of knowledge in the extension academic and professional practice |
