Abstract

The project is targeted to designing efficient information flows during the whole life cycle (planning, design, realization, management and dismantling) of large civil engineering works concerning infrastructure. A geo-information-management system will be developed that facilitates availability, accessibility, usability and integration of information. A focus of the project is the reliability and likelihood of data and models of the real world in particular, subsurface geology and geotechnical models, and the integration of expressions of reliability for data and models in a geo-information management system.
