Title Genetic markers for macrophage functions and their role in resistance against salmonella infections
Period 2002 - unknown
Status Completed
Research number OND1310672

Abstract

The functioning of macrophages is studied in vitro physio/ immunologically (e.g. killing, NO production) and by a genomic approach (expression profiling) and is linked to the resistance to Salmonella in order to identify genes and elucidate pathways in macrophages related to susceptibility for gut-bacteria.
