Uveal melanoma is an easily metastasizing eye tumor. One very important determinant in uveal melanoma is angiogenesis. By mimicking human uveal melanoma in the rat, we will better understand the regulation of angiogenesis and the effect that interference with angiogenesis will have on tumor growth and metastasis formation.
