Abstract
The mechanism of cholestatic itch is investigated. Patients with cholestasis often develop itch. Elucidation of this mechanism may lead to therapy for this often disabling symptom.

Onderzocht wordt wat de oorzaak is van de jeuk die zeer frequent wordt waargenomen bij patiënten met cholestase. Opheldering van dit mechanisme kan leiden tot therapie van dit zeer belastende symptoom.
