| The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity in Vienam for the Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) framework. This will be done by training 15 staff members of two organizations that are involved in the formulation and monitoring of CDM projects. These organizations are: Research Centre for Forest Ecology and Environment (RCFEE), a centre under the Forest Science Institute of Vietnam (FSIV) and Department of Forestry (DoF) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). The duration of the training is 12 weeks plus 2 weeks study tour to China and Thailand. The training will be given in 6 modules of 1 to 3 weeks, spread over time. ITC has teamed up with the Vietnam Forestry University (VFU) to give the training. SNV Vietnam will also give an input. |
