Abstract

The project targets the development of an MBA delivery capacity at Sana a University, Department of Business Administration. The need for management education in Yemen is evident, no comprehensive training in-country available to cater to the emerging pri¬vate sector needs. The project envisages the establishment of an MBA program through strengthening of the staff base and support in the development of the curriculum and in the development of the educational infrastructure. Parallel, institutional develop¬ment is foreseen, gearing up the Department to operate in a market-driven environ¬ment. The proposal is submitted by a consortium of management education institutions, MsM, ISS and AUC, with extensive experience in management development and capacity building and dozens of management training operations ongoing worldwide.
