Abstract

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is a contactless, and often batteryless identification technology, that has many real-world uses ranging from pet tagging, to supply chain management, to access control. The RFID Guardian project focuses upon security and privacy issues in a world full of RFID tags.

In haar proefschrift introduceert Melanie Rieback het concept 'RFID malware'. Ze beschrijft het ontwerp, de implementatie en evaluatie van de 'RFID Guardian', het eerste geïntegreerde platform voor RFID beveiliging en privacybeheer.
